Bouquet Making Lesson - at a time that suits you!

Visit us here at Bee & Bloom and learn how to make a hand-tied bouquet using fresh, seasonal flowers and foliage. Absolutely no experience needed.

I am a trained florist and flower grower of 8 years.  I absolutely love what I do! I have a passion for teaching floristry and would love to show you how to make a beauitful bouquet of your own.
 
What we will do:
Starting with a tour of my picking gardens where you can see what and how I grow my flowers, ask me any questions!
Head to my warm, dry studio with plenty of light and all the materials we need including a bucket of freshly picked flowers and foliage for you to work with. If you see anything in the picking gardens we can snip some stems on the day.
 
I will show you the technique behind making a hand-tied bouquet and you can take notes or dive straight in! It will be a very relaxed setting and there is no pressure at all, we want you to enjoy the process and switch off from the outside world!

You will make and tie your arrangement then learn how to wrap it for that extra wow-factor.
Take away your beautiful creation and the skills to make your own bouquets in the future
Keep your bouquet or gift to a loved-one (if you can bare to part with it!)
 
You will also receive a tin of our Grow Your Own Bouquet flower seeds as a special gift
 
Workshop is one-on-one in my studio in Paraparaumu Beach and is therefore not weather dependent.  Bouquet is a medium size wrapped with lush tissue and paper with ribbon.
All materials and tools are provided.
 
If you have any flowers or foliage that you would like to bring with you please do, if travelling a long distance bring a glass jar or bucket to transport your bouquet safely home.
 
Workshop is approx 1.5 hours with tea/coffee/cold drink

I do have space for 2 people in the studio (as well as myself) so if you would like to bring a friend or family member please contact me first to arrange.
