Sow & Grow Workshop - Summer Annuals

Want to learn about sowing seeds and broaden your knowledge of seed-sowing techniques? Our Sow & Grow Workshop is for you! We will be focussing on summer annuals where you will learn different ways of sowing seeds, where to start and how to pot on, plant out and much more, You will sow your own seeds from my seed collection to take away and grow at home.

Who is the workshop aimed at?
Absolute beginners to keen growers who want to expand their knowledge and learn more about growing, you dont need any prior experience just an interest and a keeness to learn. We will be focussing on flowers however the skills and techniques you will learn can be transfered to growing anything from seed.

What you will take away
A broad knowledge of sowing seeds and lots of enthusiasm for the growing season ahead. You will gain confidence in growing plants from seed and will develop your skills to take forward on your growing journey.
A seed-sowing handout to refer back to over the coming season
A selection of flower seeds which we will sow on the day for you to take home and grow in your garden or in a pot.
A sense of achievement having learnt lots of information about your favourite plants and confidence to grow your socks off this season
A lovely morning with like minded gardeners chatting, swopping tips and having a laugh together
Have a nosey in picking garden, greenhouse and studio and have lots of chats about gardening. You can ask lots of questions and learn from others too.

Location: In our picking garden in Paraparaumu Beach (Location details will be emailed to you) *Select pick up at the check out

Start time: 10am
Ts & Cs: Whilst we cannot refund you for a cancellation we are happy to credit you to attend another workshop in the future. Workshop will go ahead in not-so-perfect weather however, if we need to cancel due to adverse weather conditions we will contact you to discuss alternative dates or offer a refund.
